Russia's FSB Detains Suspect for Sharing Sensitive Data With Ukraine

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Friday that it had detained a Sevastopol resident who collected and transmitted information about air defense deployment locations to Ukrainian military intelligence.

"The Federal Security Service of Russia has detained a citizen of Russia and Ukraine, born in 1980, in the Republic of Crimea on suspicion of committing treason," the FSB said in a statement.
Acting on instructions from his supervisor, the detainee collected and transmitted information about the locations of air defense systems in Crimea and Sevastopol, the statement read, adding that the person was remanded in custody for two months.
