The Russian air defense shot down 164 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions at night, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"During the past night, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 164 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles: 32 over the Krasnodar Territory, 26 over the the Republic of Crimea, 20 over the Bryansk Region, nine each over the Volgograd, Rostov and Oryol Regions, six over the Lipetsk Region, five over the Voronezh Region, two each over the Belgorod, Kursk and Tula Regions," the ministry said in a statement.

It also said 39 drones were downed over the Black Sea and three over the Sea of Azov.
