India's ONGC Will Continue to Buy Russian Oil: CEO

ABU DHABI (Sputnik) - India's largest state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will continue to buy Russian oil, CEO Arun Kumar Singh said on Wednesday.

The CEO told reporters on the sidelines of the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi that the company will do everything that is permitted. He noted that ONGC purchases oil from traders not subject to sanctions.
“There are no sanctions on Russian oil as of now. We will continue to buy unless the government decides otherwise,” Arun Kumar Singh stated on August as well.
The company’s two units, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals, regularly purchase Russian crude for their refineries.
