“We have unanimously approved cooperation agreements with the Donetsk Republic and the government of Sevastopol — the brotherly peoples of Russia, with whom we share 81 years of unconditional friendship and solidarity-based cooperation,” the press service of the Nicaragua’s National Assembly stated.
With the approval of these two documents, it has completed the endorsement of five cooperation agreements — with Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Zaporozhye, and Sevastopol.
The purpose of the agreements is to strengthen the country’s strategic ties.
The agreement with Sevastopol specifically includes cooperation in education, technology, culture, environmental protection, housing, sports, and tourism, described as “a firm step toward developing sister-city relations.
