Over the past night, Russia’s air-defense alert systems were activated across several regions in response to incoming Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. According to the ministry’s statement, the network detected and engaged multiple targets over the course of the night.
In total, 45 UAVs were intercepted and destroyed. Fourteen were brought down over the Bryansk Region, eight over the Krasnodar Territory, six over the Republic of Crimea, and five over the Volgograd Region.
Additional interceptions occurred in other areas: four drones were destroyed over the Chechen Republic, two over the Rostov Region, and one each over the Oryol, Lipetsk, and Tver Regions. The ministry also reported that three UAVs were downed over the Black Sea.
