"This night from 11:00 pm [20:00 GMT] on February 6 to 7:00 am [04:00 GMT] on February 7, Moscow time, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 82 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
It said 45 drones were shot down over the Volgograd Region, eight over the Bryansk Region, six over the Rostov Region, six over the Saratov Region, four over the Oryol Region, four over the Tver Region, three over the Kursk Region, one over the Astrakhan Region, one over the Belgorod Region, one over the Voronezh Region, one over the Kaluga Region, one over the Lipetsk Region, and one over the Smolensk Region.
