Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 22 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian regions, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

"This past night, air defence systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 22 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

It said 11 drones were shot down over the Bryansk Region, 6 over the Black Sea, 4 over the Kaluga Region, and one over the Kursk Region.
