During the meeting, the two leaders are expected to discuss cooperation in trade, investment, defense, aviation, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, economy, finance, energy transition, critical minerals, health and space cooperation. The meeting's agenda also addresses the issues of multilateralism and global governance.
Lula da Silva received a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
After completing his visit to India, Lula da Silva will travel to South Korea before returning to Brazil to begin preparations for the election campaign. Brazil’s presidential election will take place in October this year.
