Motorcycle Rally in New Delhi Marks 81 Years Since WWII Victory

New Delhi hosted the second annual motorcycle rally marking the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945) on March 21.

The event was organised by the Embassy of Russia in India and the Russian House in New Delhi, in partnership with local motorcycle associations and with support from the city authorities. More than 300 riders took part, including participants from across India and Russia, as well as representatives of other friendly nations.
The rally followed a scenic route through the city, starting at the Russian Embassy and passing by India Gate and the National War Memorial before finishing at the Russian House.
The program continued with a concert featuring Russian, Indian, and international performers, along with a photo exhibition titled Motorcycles in Service of the Soviet Army.
Guests were welcomed by R. Babushkin, Minister-Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in India. Diplomats from more than ten foreign embassies also attended the event.
