"During the past night, 85 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by on-duty air defense systems from 23:00 Moscow time [20:00 GMT] on April 3 to 8:00 Moscow time on April 4," the ministry said in a statement.
They were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Tver, Oryol, Samara and Saratov regions, as well as Crimea and the Black Sea.
