“The international situation… is now being aggravated by the actions of our Western colleagues” in regions including Ukraine, Latin America and the Strait of Hormuz, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.
He added that Russia and China reviewed efforts to develop trade, economic and investment cooperation in a way that protects it from “sanctions” and other “illegal methods, coercion, blackmail, dictation.”
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, as part of his official visit to China.
