"Airstrikes by the Israeli enemy on southern Lebanon on 24 April resulted in the deaths of six citizens and the injury of two others," the centre said in a statement, as quoted by the Lebanese news agency NNA.
US President Donald Trump said on Friday that an agreement had been reached during recent Lebanon-Israel talks in Washington to extend the ceasefire for three weeks. Hezbollah, however, has said such an extension is meaningless if Israel continues daily airstrikes and artillery shelling, detonates homes in Lebanese villages, and kills Lebanese citizens.
