Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for the UAE on Saturday, where he’s expected to hold talks with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and the ruler of Abu Dhabi. "PM Narendra Modi bids adieu to France following a successful visit that heralded a new chapter in the India-France relationship. PM now takes off for Abu Dhabi for the next leg of his visit," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.The Indian Prime Minister and UAE President are expected to witness the signing of an agreement and four memorandums of understanding in the fields of energy, defense and education, reported multiple media. Both sides are also expected to discuss strengthening trade and investment between the two countries.Modi’s two-day visit to Abu Dhabi will also an address the World Government Summit in Dubai on Sunday.Notably, the UAE is home to more than three million Indians who live in various parts of the Emirates.

In Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. Modi was also conferred with the country's highest civilian and military honor, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for the UAE on Saturday, where he’s expected to hold talks with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE and the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
