A massive demolition continues in full swing on the fourth day, tearing down more than 60 illegal properties that were linked to the malcontents responsible for causing chaos by hurling stones during a religious procession in Haryana's Nuh district.After the clash between the two communities in the violence-hit state, people fled their homes fearing arrests.On Sunday, the Nuh district administration bulldozed Sahara Hotel after they found its owners to be linked to the violence.Several shops, including medical stores, restaurants, and homes, were also razed on Saturday.The authorities also took action against the illegal encroachment on government land by the migrants living in Tauru village, about 20 km away from violence-hit Nuh.Haryana Nuh Violence: What Happened? A massive violence broke out in Haryana state's Nuh after a mob, on Monday, stopped a Vishwa Hindu Parishad's 'Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra' religious procession by pelting attendees with stones and setting cars on fire.The procession was flagged off from Gurugram and was stopped by a mob near Khedla Mod in Nuh. Some people in the procession also threw stones at the mob which was stopping the procession.During the conflict, a mosque was set on fire after midnight, and over 120 vehicles, including police vans, were torched and vandalized as violent mobs rampaged through Nuh and neighboring Gurugram.While the situation has been brought under control, the clash lead to the death of six people, including two home guards and a cleric, and left many more injured, including police personnel.At least 120 vehicles, including several belonging to the police, have been damaged in the violence.So far, 106 first information reports (FIRs) have been filed and over 216 people have been arrested; there have been 24 FIRs filed over social media posts and four people have been arrested for content that possibly led to violence.A police investigation is underway to find out the mastermind behind the clash.
