Politicians from across the spectrum have urged the Indian government to get the Indian MP extradited from Germany, possibly through the use of a 'Red Corner' notice.
Prajwal Revanna, an Indian Member of Parliament (MP) from Hassan Lok Sabha constituency in Karnataka, has reportedly fled to Frankfurt soon after the state chief minister announced a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe against him over sexual abuse allegations, according to reports on Sunday.
Revanna, the grandson for former Indian Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and a politician from Janata Dal (Secular), has been accused of sexually molesting numerous women, including party workers, officials constituents and maids, as well as filming these acts.
He reportedly used the videos to "blackmail" the victims to continue with these illicit actions.

Revanna has denied the charges and described the obscene videos as being "morphed", but his flight to Germany has raised questions over his innocence claims.

The SIT probe was announced by State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who said that the decision was taken in response to a request from the Chairperson of the Women's Commission.
Revanna's father, HD Revanna, was also involved in sexual misconduct against women, according to a police complaint filed against the father-son duo on Sunday.

There are reports suggesting that Revanna's videos were doing the rounds locally since last year.
Around 2,800 videos distributed through 8,000 pen drives have gained thousands of videos, according to one of the messages circulating in the constituency.
