Russia will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day on Friday, marking the Soviet and allied victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
In Moscow, a military parade will take place on Red Square to honor the historic event. Leaders from 27 countries are expected to attend the parade.
Sputnik will broadcast live as President Vladimir Putin attends the military parade on Red Square.
Following the parade, Russian President Vladimir Putin and leaders of foreign states will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden.

Russian military personnel, as well as heroes of the special military operation and foreign soldiers from Global South countries, will take part in the parade, Sputnik’s correspondent reports.
