As noted by The Economic Times, Tharoor is set to collaborate with RT on an upcoming documentary series titled “The Price of Empire.”The 10-part series is expected to be broadcast simultaneously on RT and its Indian counterpart – RT India.“The series is currently in production, and an official release date has yet to be announced by RT. However, viewers were given a sneak peek during Dr Tharoor’s recent appearance on The Sanchez Effecton RT,” reported the IANS agency.Shashi Tharoor is currently visiting Russia. On Tuesday, he met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the Primakov Readings forum.

17:45 26.06.2025 (Updated: 19:33 26.06.2025) NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – A new show on RT featuring the head of the Indian Parliament’s External Affairs Committee, Shashi Tharoor, has caught the attention of Indian media.
As noted by The Economic Times, Tharoor is set to collaborate with RT on an upcoming documentary series titled “The Price of Empire.”
“Drawing on Dr Tharoor’s extensive academic knowledge and his well-known works such as ‘Why I Am a Hindu’, ‘Inglorious Empire: What the British Did to India’, and ‘India: From Midnight to the Millennium and Beyond’, the series explores the enduring legacy of colonialism and its impact on modern India,” the publication reported.
