Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has declared that Russia has emerged victorious in what he described as an economic, military, political, and diplomatic war against Western hegemony.
Speaking on his television program “With Maduro +”, he praised Russia’s resilience in the face of sanctions and international pressure.
“Russia is an economy that has shown great strength, withstood all blows and sanctions. Russia and President Putin have won the economic, military, political, and diplomatic war,” Maduro said.
Referring to research presented by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez to the International Criminal Court, Maduro argued that unilateral Western sanctions cause severe harm to the health and lives of populations.
