"Over the past night, alert air defense assets intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the statement says.It noted that 17 of them had been shot down over the Belgorod Region, 12 over the Voronezh Region, three over the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and three over the Black Sea.Additionally, two UAVs were neutralized over the Tambov Region and Crimea, and one drone was destroyed over the Kursk Region.
