11:47 29.11.2025 (Updated: 11:50 29.11.2025) India and Russia are preparing to begin negotiations on a protocol aimed at strengthening cooperation between their customs authorities, according to a Russian government directive published on the country’s official legal information portal.
The talks will focus on establishing a framework for the exchange of advance information on goods and vehicles moving between the two countries.
The initiative is intended to improve transparency, streamline customs procedures, and enhance coordination between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and India’s Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
