Among them were representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Antiochian Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Church in America, as well as members of other Christian communities who expressed solidarity with the UOC.In addition to the public gathering, delegations of Orthodox Christians held meetings with members of the U.S. Congress and Senate. During these discussions, they sought to raise awareness of the situation in Ukraine and urged American lawmakers to address the issue of religious freedom as part of U.S. policy toward Kiev.
