Renowned American investor Jim Rogers has endorsed the long-discussed idea of building a tunnel between Russia’s Far East and Alaska, calling the concept “wonderful” and expressing hope that the project may someday come to life.
Speaking about the proposed Russia–US link via the Bering Strait, Rogers said it would be “wonderful if it were easy to drive between Russia and the United States, even into Alaska,” noting that such a connection could open an entirely new chapter in global transportation and trade.
