US envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner are travelling to Moscow on Thursday for Ukraine talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I think we've made a lot of progress", Witkoff said, adding that negotiations were down to one ‍last issue. "So ‌if both ‍sides ‌want to solve this, we're ‍going to get ‌it solved," Witkoff told the audience in Davos.

The settlement of the conflict is said to be in its final stage;

The creation of a duty-free zone in Ukraine could help the country’s economy in the future;

The United States is determined to successfully complete the settlement in Ukraine;

After his visit to Moscow, Witkoff will travel to Abu Dhabi, where working-level contacts on the Ukraine settlement will take place.
