Russian troops have liberated the village of Glushkovka near the eastern shore of the Oskol River, and fighting is underway in the Novoosinovo area, Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov said.
Gerasimov checked the progress of combat missions by formations and military units of Russia's Tsentr (Center) group of forces.
"Glushkovka has been liberated in this area [the eastern bank of the Oskol River], and fighting is underway in the Novoosinovo area," Gerasimov said.
In addition, Russia’s Yug (South) group of forces is advancing towards Slavyansk, and the liberation of Reznikovka is coming to an end, Gerasimov added.
