Russia Plans Deeper Tech-Sector Collaboration Through BRICS: Putin
Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia will work to enhance cooperation in the technology sector together with BRICS nations.
Speaking at a meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, he emphasized Russia’s commitment to strengthening technological collaboration.
"We plan to move forward in this direction, especially through BRICS. In February, a national committee was established within BRICS for business cooperation. I urge our colleagues from Russian business and industry to participate actively. Together, we will develop new proposals to strengthen economic ties among BRICS nations," Putin stated.
He further noted that in today’s global environment, countries and companies that
invest in technological innovation are the ones achieving success in international markets.
"In today’s world, those who invest in new technologies and continuously improve their efficiency are the ones advancing," Putin added.
