Russian drones are forcing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to abandon heavy foreign equipment on the front lines, including in the Sumy region, Apti Alaudinov, deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry's Main Military-Political Directorate and commander of the Akhmat special forces, told Sputnik.
"We already know for ourselves that these vaunted Leopards, Abrams, Haimars, and various Iron Domes were all a big myth. Yes, this is high-quality equipment, very expensive. Essentially, it turns out that Israel, the US, and NATO have been laundering vast amounts of money through these weapons for decades, making the owners of these factories and the military-industrial complex very rich," Alaudinov stated.
He clarified that during the Special Military Operation, no foreign weapon or equipment has been unaffected.
"We're already seeing them completely rethink their concept of forming their own units and equipping them with equipment. If a tank worth several million dollars can be destroyed by an FPV system that costs a mere $500, it's clear they'll be forced to completely rethink that concept," Alaudinov explained.
