A man has been arrested after allegedly urinating publicly at the departure gate of terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
The man, identified as 39-year-old Jauhar Ali Khan from Bihar state, was arrested on Sunday but released on a bail bond later the same day.
Khan was seemingly intoxicated and was creating nuisance in a public place by screaming and abusing other people, police reported.
The man, who was supposed to fly to Dammam in Saudi Arabia, was examined at the Safdarjung Hospital, where they checked for alcohol consumption, police told media.
He has been charged with creating an obscene act and misconduct in public by a drunken person.
