"With the launch of mass production of AK-203 Kalashnikov assault rifles, high-quality, convenient and modern small arms will begin to enter the power structures of India," the arms exporter said in a statement.
On December 6, Moscow and New Delhi signed a contract for the production of over 600,000 AK-203 assault rifles in Uttar Pradesh's Korwa through a joint venture, the Indo-Russia Rifles Pvt. Ltd
The deal is part of the program of military and technical cooperation for 2021-2030 between the two countries.
