At least two foreign nationals have died after an avalanche hit the Afarwat peak in Asia's famous ski resort of Gulmarg in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, local Baramulla police said on Wednesday.
While 19 skiers have been successfully rescued and transported to the hospital, the search operation continues.
Gulmarg is the largest ski resort in the Himalayas, with a height varying from 2,000 to 4,000 kilometers, mostly used for off-piste skiing.
