Two youngsters in their 20s allegedly broke into Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow in Mumbai on Thursday and managed to reach the building's third floor, police told media.
Law enforcement said the duo entered the luxurious bungalow's premises by scaling its outer wall.
While they were loitering inside the bungalow looking for the star, Khan was reportedly away shooting for his upcoming movie “Jawan” and returned home later during the early hours of Thursday and went to sleep.
Security guards at the bungalow nabbed the two as they were spotted hiding on the third floor. Later, they were handed over to the police.
During the interrogation, the young men revealed that they had come from Gujarat and wanted to meet the “Pathaan” (a recent superhit movie) star, Shah Rukh Khan.
Police have registered a case of trespassing and other relevant offences against them.
Khan is currently basking in the glory of success following his recently-released film “Pathaan,” which has broken all box office records by garnering over INR 10.22 Billion ($130 million).
His upcoming films are “Jawan,” “Dunki,” and “Tiger 3.”
