India, Iran, and Armenia Hold First-Ever Trilateral Political Consultations

The meeting touched upon issues of economic and regional communication and discussed the potential for deepening cultural connections between the peoples of their countries, as well as boosting trilateral cooperation in various fields.

According to a press release from the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the first-ever political consultations between the foreign ministries of India, Armenia, and Iran were held in Yerevan on Thursday.
"On 20 April, the first trilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of India were held in Yerevan," as stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials, including Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister and South Asia Department head Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, and Regional Department head of India's External Affairs Ministry Jitender Pal Singh.
