Authors take eons to pen their books and get them out on the shelves. However, for a four-year-old boy, Saeed Rashed AlMheiri from UAE, his journey as an author kicked off quite early in life.
At just four years and 218 days, Rashed bagged his first Guinness World Record for the youngest person to publish a book titled 'The Elephant Saeed and the Bear'.
After 20 days, he managed to write a sequel - 'My True Friend', earning him the title of the youngest person to publish a book series (male) at the age of 4 years and 238 days by Rainbow Chimney Educational Aids.
Rashed's family successfully met the required record guidelines by selling 1,000 printed copies of their book during the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023 last month.

Rashed drew motivation from his younger sister, AlDhabi AlMheiri, who also authored a book series in her youth and clinched a Guinness World Record for being the youngest female to publish a bilingual book series at 8 years and 239 days old.
She published her book 'I Had An Idea And Here Was The Beginning' in both English and Arabic.
Following the footsteps of his sister, Rashed became fond of reading and writing books. But, since numbers and robotics are close to his heart, he aspires to become a scientist one day.
“When I grow up, I want to be a scientist and a superhero to save the Earth,” he told the Guinness World Records.
