The sudden demise of veteran Indian actor Kazan Khan has left his fans shocked as they took to social media to extend condolences to his family and pay tribute for entertaining the audience with his grey-shade character.
Film producer and production controller, NM Badusha, broke the news of Khan's demise on social media and said, "Famous villain actor Kazan Khan died of a heart attack."
Extending condolences, Badusha added that Khan became famous for his roles in several films including 'CID Musa' and 'Varna Pakittu'.
Flashback to Khan's Journey
Kazan Khan forayed into the Tamil film industry with 'Senthimeez Pattu' in 1992 and went on to star in several regional language movies, including Malayalam, and Kannada.
In 1995, Khan became a household name in Malayalam cinema after he made his debut and played the role of Vikram Ghorpade in 'The King' movie featuring superstar Mammootty in the lead role.
Throughout his career which lasted for decades, Khan performed in more than 50 movies predominantly in the role of an antagonist, and portrayed them with such proficiency that it left the viewers horrified.
Some of his popular films include 'CID Moosa', 'Ullathai Allitha', 'Mettukudi', 'The Don' and 'Naam Iruvar Namaku Iruvar' to name a few.
Khan was last seen in 2015 in the movie 'Laila O Laila'.
Several actors and fans of Khan took to social media to pay tribute to the actor and offer condolences.
