The participans of the summit are Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Kyrgystan Sadyr Japarov, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
It is expected that Iran will be formally approved as a member of the SCO at the meeting of heads of state later on Tuesday.
