Ukraine Armed Forces fired five cluster bombs of 155 millimeters caliber in 10 minutes in Donetsk direction on Friday, the Dontesk People Republic's representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported.
"Fire was recorded from the Ukraine Armed Forces in the direction: ... the settlement of Gorlovka (Nikitovsky district): five shells with a caliber of 152 mm were fired ... four shells with a caliber of 152 millimeters were fired," the mission's telegram channel said.
The office also reported that seven shells of the NATO caliber of 155 millimeters were fired at the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk.
In addition, the villages of Zaitsevo and Golmovsky were shelled with eight munitions of 152 mm caliber.
Artillery of 155 mm caliber is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Ukraine with long-range M777 howitzers of 155 mm caliber, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns using shells of this caliber.
