Modi Invites 450 Delhi Police Officers to Dinner Following G-20's Success

Since September last year, Delhi Police started working on a security plan for the G20 Summit. More than 30,000 security personnel were deployed on the ground in the New Delhi Municipal Council zone and over 2,000 cops were posted inside the venue.

In recognition of the invaluable contribution made by the Delhi Police to the success of the G-20 Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be hosting a grand dinner exclusively for 450 esteemed security personnel this week.
The officials include top performers from various departments and districts and are set to attend the exclusive dinner at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan where the G-20 Summit took place.
During the high-profile G-20 Summit that took place on September 9-10, Delhi Police turned the Capital city into a fortress.
The summit brought together leaders from around the world and presented a significant security challenge. However, several departments of Delhi Police worked tirelessly to ensure successful and hassle-free events.
Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has reportedly asked for a list of police personnel from every district who did an excellent job during the summit.
