Western Lies About Ukraine Akin to Nazi Propaganda: Expert

The Western propaganda has been claiming that Moscow's campaign in Ukraine is on the verge of defeat, what, as experts believe, resemble the methods used by the Nazis.

An Indian army veteran has stated that the "false media narrative" in the West, which predicts Russia's defeat by the Ukrainian military, is reminiscent of Nazi Germany's propaganda against the Allies.
The comments by Lieutenant-Colonel (retd) J.S. Sodhi come in the wake of an article in a leading Indian daily in which the writer mentioned that the "myth" surrounding the Ukrainian armed forces was being busted.

Indian Media Mocks Zelensky

"The carefully nurtured media myth that Ukraine’s military, powered by nationalism and patriotism, in addition to modern weapons supplied by the West, is on the threshold of inflicting crippling wounds on Russia, has been exposed as a false narrative," the article in the newspaper Tribune mentioned.
The publication added that Zelensky's despair was written all over his face.

"Throughout the almost 20-month war with Russia, Zelensky's regular Winston Churchill-style speeches to his people - from a bunker or similar dramatic setting - have largely kept his country together. It is typical of a stage and television actor that he was until the last day of 2018," the media outlet stressed.

West Unleashes Well-Strategised Media Campaign Against Russia

Against this backdrop, Sodhi said that as the truth about the Russia-Ukraine conflict comes out, more and more Indian media are realising that the West-hyped stories about Ukraine winning the war were all part of a well-strategised media campaign unleashed by the West.
As the Ukrainian counter-offensive fails, the defense pundit notes that numerous false narratives surrounding the Russian defeat are steadily collapsing.
"In my opinion, Ukraine's summer counter-offensive was over-hyped by the Western media though it is well-known that Ukraine stands no chance against the mighty armed forces of Russia. This was primarily done to offset NATO not sending a single boot to Ukraine," Sodhi told Sputnik India on Tuesday.
He stressed that "false media propaganda", similar to that unleashed by the West in the Ukraine context, leads to unnecessary deaths of both civilians and military personnel.
"False media propaganda of a war leads to unnecessary deaths of soldiers and civilians of both warring nations and that's why correct media reporting should always be done," Sodhi said.

Ukraine's Tactics Resemble Nazis

The retired Indian Army officer provided an example of a Nazi minister who employed similar tactics during World War II, just like the Kiev regime is currently doing, proudly proclaiming their achievements on the battlefield. However, the situation on the battlefield was quite the opposite.

"Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Information Minister of Germany during the Second World War kept on giving false press releases and radio broadcasts that Germany was winning against the Allies and the German Army soldiers kept on fighting and getting killed," Sodhi concluded.
