The Ukrainian armed forces have already suffered thousands of casualties over the past two or three weeks - since the beginning of Russia's active actions on the front - and the Ukraine's stockpiles of foreign weapons are beginning to run out, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Yan Gagin, told Sputnik.
"Since the beginning of active actions from our side, for two or three weeks now, the enemy has lost quite a large number of personnel - this figure is measured in thousands. And if we talk about the loss of equipment, [it] already amounts to hundreds [of units]. This is quite a lot," Gagin said.
Earlier he mentioned that the Russian military has been actively advancing along the entire front line in recent weeks, particularly successfully in the direction of Artemovsk and Donetsk.
According to him, Kiev's stockpiles of foreign weapons are "beginning to run out."
"And without new aid, of course, Ukraine will not survive. We understand this. And they understand it, that's why Kiev is again trying to draw attention to itself, to return the affection of the host in the person of [US President Joe] Biden, in the person of other heads of NATO states, in order to continue receiving arms and money for the war," Gagin explained.
