Indian Skydiver Sets World Record at Mount Everest

On 13 November, Shital Mahajan performed a breathtaking and record-breaking jump from 21,500ft in front of Mount Everest, landing on Kala Patthar, a landmark at an altitude of 17,444ft (5,317m).

Mahajan, an Indian skydiver, achieved an extraordinary feat by becoming the only woman to have leapt from a helicopter at the breathtaking height of 21,500 feet, right in front of the looming majesty of the Earth's highest point.
Mahajan, a well-known skydiver in India, also receives the fourth-highest Indian civilian award, Padma Shri.
As per the media reports, on November 11, Mahajan took her first leap from 5000ft AGL (Above Ground Level) at a staggering 17500ft altitude.

"On 11 November with 1st jump accomplished record of First woman in the World to skydive over three poles of the World - the North pole, the South Pole, and third pole of the world i.e., the Mount Everest," she wrote on social media.

On November 13, Mahajan performed a breathtaking jump from 21,500ft in front of Mount Everest, landing at an astonishing altitude of Kalapatthar, located at 17444ft (5317m).
The skydiver also became first Indian woman to skydive in front of Mount Everest at Kalapatthar.
