In a spectacular display of grace and style, Shweta Sharda, a 23-year-old former dancer who hails from Chandigarh, Punjab, left a lasting impression as she confidently took to the runway at the Miss Universe pageant.
Sharda made many heads turn as she dazzled during the National Costume round for which she wore designer Nidhi Yasha's outfit.
She looked no less than an ‘armoured goddess’, donning a headgear featuring a lotus halo, a skirt resembling India's national bird peacock with handcrafted feather embroidery.
The bold and beautiful Sharda left everyone stunned in the swimsuit round for which she let her lustrous tresses down and walked the runway wearing a gold metallic swimsuit paired with neckline and loop earrings.
Who is Shweta Sharda?
Born on May 24, 2000, Sharda hailed from Punjab state's Chandigarh city and was raised by a single mother.
At just 16, Sharda shifted to Mumbai city in Maharashtra state to pursue her passion for dancing.
She participated in several dance-reality shows, including 'Dance India Dance Season 6', 'Dance Deewane', and 'Dance Plus 6'.
She also dabbled in choreography for another dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' Season 10.
Sharda also got featured in a music video 'Mast Aankhein' opposite actor-dancer Shantanu Maheshwari.
She entered the modelling world and was also crowned Miss Diva Universe 2023.

The grand finale of the 72nd Miss Universe pageant contest will take place on Sunday, 18th November at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.
