Participants in the online G-20 summit varied in their opinions on Ukraine and the ways they expressed them regarding Ukraine, Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Kremlin, said on Friday. Russian President Vladimir Putin, in light of this, provided a comprehensive evaluation.
"Positions on Ukrainian issues vary, different countries used different formulations and, in fact, in response to them, the president gave his detailed assessment of the situation," Peskov told reporters.
During the summit, leaders listened to the Russian president while Putin heeded the opinions of the other participants, which is a noteworthy development, he added.
Commenting on US President Joe Biden's absence from the G-20 summit, the official said that this had no impact on the event.
