Wild Elephant Spreads Havoc on Streets After Escaping from Similipal Forest

Since Wednesday night, a stray elephant has caused chaos after it got separated from its herd at Similipal Forest and entered Baripada town in Odisha, frightening locals people.

The streets of Baripada in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district have been taken over by a wild elephant, running amok and causing chaos and leaving onlookers amazed as videos of the incident go viral.
Panic struck students of the MKC High School in Baripada town after the wild tusker broke down the wall and entered the school premises on Thursday morning.
Upon receiving a call, the Forest Department staff and police officers swiftly arrived at the scene to capture and safely guide the majestic elephant back to its natural habitat.
Following an extensive rescue operation, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Santosh Kumar Joshi of Baripada town took to social media to announce that they had successfully guided the elephant back to Similipal Forest and a team of the Forest Department continues to monitor the movement of the tuskers.
