“The Centre for Russian Pedagogy opened in India... on the basis of the Partap Pedagogical College... Russia as a state-civilization has a unique cultural heritage in various fields of culture and education. One such value array that makes up national pride and the Russian cultural code is the heritage of Makarenko, Ushinsky, Vygotsky, Sukhomlinsky, Soloveichik and many others. The centre will give everyone access to this heritage", the press service quoted IKBFU Rector Alexander Fedorov as saying.
“The development of cooperation with Indian colleagues is in line with modern Russian foreign policy and meets the needs of foreign students of the Baltic Federal University. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted during a meeting last week, a large number of Indian representatives study with us - they make up more than a quarter of all foreign students...” the rector wrote.
