Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, inaugurated India's longest cable-stayed bridge, Sudarshan Setu, a symbol of modern engineering marvel in Gujarat.
The Sudarshan Setu, constructed with a whopping investment of around INR 9.80 billion ($118 million), forms a vital connection between the old historic and new modern Dwarka cities.
This magnificent bridge brings about a remarkable reduction in travel time for both pilgrims and tourists, who earlier used to rely on boats and could only travel during the day.
The footpath has been equipped with solar panels designed to produce one megawatt of electricity.
