Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday, inaugurated India's longest cable-stayed bridge, Sudarshan Setu, a symbol of modern engineering marvel in Gujarat.The Sudarshan Setu, constructed with a whopping investment of around INR 9.80 billion ($118 million), forms a vital connection between the old historic and new modern Dwarka cities.This magnificent bridge brings about a remarkable reduction in travel time for both pilgrims and tourists, who earlier used to rely on boats and could only travel during the day.The footpath has been equipped with solar panels designed to produce one megawatt of electricity.

India's longest cable-stayed bridge, Sudarshan Setu, a symbol of
modern engineering marvel in Gujarat.
The Sudarshan Setu, constructed with a whopping investment of around INR 9.80 billion ($118 million), forms a vital connection between the old historic and new modern Dwarka cities.
This magnificent bridge brings about a remarkable reduction in travel time for both pilgrims and tourists, who earlier used to rely on boats and could only travel during the day.
The bridge is an impressive 27.20 meters wide, with 2.5 meter-wide footpaths on each side beautifully decorated with verses from the 700-verse Hindu scripture 'Bhagavad Gita' and stunning images of Hindu God Lord Krishna, creating a truly distinctive cultural experience.
The footpath has been equipped with solar panels designed to produce one megawatt of electricity.
