The Northern Sea Route (NSR) has a strategic importance amid global shipping disruptions such as those seen in the Suez Canal, said Vladimir Panov, Rosatom State Corporation's special representative for Arctic development issues.
The NSR represents a significant shift in global transport patterns, aiming to reduce dependence on traditional, longer sea routes that are both costly and less efficient.
Discussions are underway to use the NSR for India's benefit, providing a more stable alternative for transporting goods. This vision for the NSR transcends current issues and positions it as a cornerstone of future logistics for Russia and its partners.
