It touched upon one of the most discussed topics – the pros and cons of AI generated news content.
Pavel Zaytsev, Traffic Manager at Sputnik News Agency and Radio, became a speaker at the master class organised jointly with Sputnik Hub in New Delhi.
"The modern world of technology is developing rapidly, and if a person wants to be a good professional in any field, not only in journalism, he or she needs to constantly learn new things and get experience from other countries," Head of Sputnik Hub in India Olga Dycheva commented on the lecture.
She expressed hope that the lecture made the students think about how to apply AI in their future work, how to accept these inevitable changes rather than resist them.
"Today's workshop was very interesting and very informative as we discussed AI generated content. AI is the future that our students will be working with," Ritu Sood, Dean of the School of Journalism, Film and Media at Sharda University.
The master class dedicated to AI in media is held within the framework of the Memorandum between Sputnik and Sharda University signed in 2020.
