MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia's Sever (North) group of forces took control of the settlements of Novaya Sorochina and Pokrovsky in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Wednesday.
"The units of the Sever group of forces continued conducting offensive operations, during which they liberated the settlements of Novaya Sorochina and Pokrovskii," the ministry said in a statement.
