"At exactly 11:00 a.m. local time [19:00 GMT], the president is scheduled to land [in Anchorage], and President Trump will meet him at the plane ramp. We proceed from this according to the way it was agreed in advance," Peskov told Rossiya 1 reporter Pavel Zarubin.
Putin's departure from Russia's Magadan to Anchorage in Alaska will be "timely," Peskov added.
The Russian President will work on documents during his flight to Alaska, including on all the theses for the upcoming summit with Trump, Peskov added.
Earlier the day, Trump expressed hope that something will come out of the Alaska summit with President Putin.
"He is a smart guy. And here we are, we are presidents, that was much more difficult than what I am doing today, believe me. So we get along. There is a good respect level on both sides. And I think, you know, something is going to come up. And I noticed he is bringing a lot of business people from Russia, and that is good," Trump told reporters.
