Russian Air Defences Destroy 54 Ukrainian Drones

Russian air defence systems on duty shot down 54 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night, the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement.

"On 29 August, from midnight to 06:00 Moscow time, air defence systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 54 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
It added that 18 drones were shot down over the Bryansk Region, ten over Crimea, eight over the Tver Region, two each over the Oryol, Ryazan and Tula regions, one each over the Kursk, Kaluga and Novgorod regions, and nine over the Black Sea.
